Navajo silversmith Bo Reeves is the son of the late master silversmith Gary Reeves and nephew to another well-known silversmith, Darryl Cadman. Bo had the opportunity of growing up in Gary’s workshop and learning the craft directly from him. Today Bo continues the family tradition of jewelry making, but like all true artists Bo just has the desire to create his own looks. Taking from his dad’s rustic brushed silver look he creates beautiful, one-of-a-kind works and uses a variety of looks that add to the uniqueness of his pieces.
Navajo silversmith Gary Reeves revived those classic early tourists' styles by filling his work with eagles, crosses, whirling logs, stars and arrows. His work was very popular and reached collectors around the world. For the collector who loves this rustic style of Navajo silver his son Bo Reeves has carried on the tradition. This young silversmith had helped his dad for years and creates his work in the same style. A style that concentrates on detail and traditional Navajo attributes like thick silver.
