Hopi carver Eric Roy from Third Mesa (Oraibi) comes from a family of Kachina carvers. His grandfather was a Kachina carver, as well as his father, Cooledge Roy, Jr. who is famous for his magnificent Eagle Dancers. His uncles and brothers are also known for their Kachinas.
