Hand carded Navajo rug with a Wide Ruins pattern. The 34” x 48” hand woven rug has bands of diamond patterns along with bands of a wavy design.
Wide Ruins rugs are known for having very fine, tightly-spun yarns and an even weave. They include a full range of vegetal colors: soft green, mauve, terra cotta, and pale purple, pink and blue along with the more basic yellow, gold, brown, and tan. The patterns look like versions of Chinle and Crystal rugs, and usually include narrow bands of wavy lines
