Vintage Chinle dazzler rug with a repeating geometric design. Tightly woven with shades of brown, gold, cream and red. Hand carded, hand spun, vegetal dyed native wool. Ca 1940-1950 Size: 40" x 67"

Chinle Rugs usually are banded rugs and woven without a border. Originally woven in Chinle, Arizona, the Chinle is said to be a revived pattern in the process of being reintroduced into rug weaving.
