The beautiful red and blue chief blankets with crosses of today are transitional blankets H.B. Hubbell revived. Hubbell revised the original red and brown stripe pattern Moki Pueblo style blankets with the four directions to the more saleable red and blue chief blankets with the four directions. They are a favorite of collectors today.
