Vintage Chinle style vegetal dyed rug. The yellow green and red bands interchange with bands of diamond designs. This 39” x 63” rug was hand carded, spun and woven. Ca 1900

Chinle rugs are the simplest of the banded rugs, with stripes of plain colors alternating with bands of geometric patterns.
