Rug with five Yei figures by Navajo weaver Frannie Pete. This hand carded and hand woven 100% wool rug is 29” x 41”.

A Yei rug depicts the Navajo Holy People. The Yei communicates between the Navajo People and their Gods. The “Holy People” in the Yei rugs are believed to restore health when called upon in a traditional Navajo ceremony.
