P828 Zuni Plate
Fluted edge plate by Zuni potter Tony Lorenzo. The 7 1/3” plate has a traditional Zuni bird design.
Tony Lorenzo is from the Zuni Pueblo in New Mexico. He received 1st & 2nd place in the 2015 Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial. The raised lizard is one of his favorite designs. Tony is known for his hand coiled, hand painted raised lizard pots.
Zuni pottery is unique and seems to always be a little different than the Northern New Mexico Pueblos’ work.
