Jason “White Eagle" Suazo

Santa Clara Pueblo

Santa Clara potter Jason “White Eagle is the son of Anita and Joseph Suazo and grandson of Belen Tapia. Jason was inspired by his mother to make traditional hand coiled pottery with clays collected from Santa Clara Pueblo.

Jason specializes in hand carved redware and blackware that is highly polished in the traditional Santa Clara manner.

Jason and his wife, LaHoma have won many awards for their outstanding work.

 Lahoma Suazo was born in 1971. She currently lives in Espanola . Lahoma attended Pojoaque High School in Santa Fe, NM and graduated class of 1989.
