JSW917 Salt and Pepper Shakers
Sterling silver salt and pepper shakers by Navajo silversmith Dale Begaye. The workmanship in these 1” x 2” shakers is exquisite.
A small hole is in the bottom of each shaker. The shaker holes are set in an S and P shape.
The end of World War II began a new era in Navajo silverwork. Products for the Anglo market became in demand, with items such tableware and boxes.
About the artist
Dale Begaye
Dale Begaye was born in 1958, and has been a silversmith since 1972. He is member of the Salt and Mexican Clans.
Dale was resident silversmith at Shades of the West for many years, and designed silverwork solely for the Anselm Collection.
