J1997 Elgin Tom
Sterling silver cluster ring by Navajo silversmith Elgin Tom. The 1 1/2” cluster with a 1/2” x 5/8” center stone is a beautiful green turquoise. Nine beautifully matched cabochons and silver raindrops surround the center stone. The hand stamped four pronged band is 1/2”.
Elgin Tom was born in Gallup, NM into a family of silversmiths. He learned the art of silverwork by helping his father and grandfather from an early age. Influenced by his grandfather, Elgin, like his grandfather, hand-makes his own unique intricate stamps to create his jewelry. Elgin, a father of four, is maintaining his family heritage of silversmithing by teaching his children.
Elgin Tom is an award winning silversmith.
