Sterling silver maiden by Navajo silversmith Cecil Ashley. The 2 3/4” x 1 1/8” pendant has Turquoise, Spiney Oyster and Sugalite inlay.
This is a special example of Ashley’s work. The fancy, hard to find spider web dragon skin turquoise elevates it above the ordinary. It is a piece of wearable art.
Cecil Ashley is a talented silversmith and lapidary artist. This lovely piece shows the quality of material and workmanship Cecil uses in his one of a kind collectible designs. Cecil worked for the Brown’s Trading Post in the mid-80's before going out on his own.
