Navajo silversmith Terry Charlie was born 1966 in Tuba City, Arizona on the Navajo Reservation. He has been a silversmith since 1988.

He learned the art from his grandfather, Juan Platero from Canoncito, New Mexico. Terry is known for his traditional old style silverwork and is a master of repousse silver.

Terry is best known for his traditional style concho belts.
