Paul Vigil was a member of the Tesuque Pueblo in New Mexico. He was the son of Thomas Vigil (Pan Yo Pin), famous self-taught Pueblo artist. He was also the brother of Tim Vigil (deceased).
Paul is known for his Pueblo dancers, kachina dancers, animals and traditional Pueblo scenes. His artwork has been featured in Southwestern Indian Ceremonials by Tom Bahti, a magazine dedicated to Native American ceremonial traditions. Paul’s work is represented in many major collections in the U.S.A. and abroad.
