The Blue Gem mine, which is no longer active, produced a great variety of turquoise, from intense blue to deep green with an irregular matrix. The Blue Gem mine, which began production in 1934 yielded the most valuable turquoise because of its rich color and hardness.

Arnold Goodluck
Born in 1964, Navajo silversmith Arnold Goodluck learned silversmithing from his parents. His work covers a wide range of styles; from stampwork to wirework, and contemporary to old style. He is inspired by livestock and cowboy living.
Arnold Goodluck is from Houck Arizona. His family has started jewelry in 1910-1920s. He is the great-grandson of the first Goodluck silversmith, Hosteen Good Luck.
Arnold creates many styles of Jewelry with his wife, Karlene Goodluck.
