Heavy gauge sterling silver buckle by Navajo silversmith Dale Begaye. The 2 1/2” x 1 1/2” buckle with a hand stamped design is made for a 1” belt.

Dale was resident silversmith at Shades of the West for many years, and designed silverwork solely for the Anselm Collection. Having lived in the Phoenix area for several years, Dale now resides on the Navajo Reservation in northeast Arizona and no longer does silversmithing.

Dale Begaye was born in 1958, and has been a silversmith since 1972. He is member of the Salt and Mexican Clans.
Dale was resident silversmith at Shades of the West for many years, and designed silverwork solely for the Anselm Collection.
