Sterling silver Squash Blossom necklace by Navajo silversmith Ella Peter. The 2 3/4” x 3” naja has 16 square cut Turquoise cabochons from various mines. Eleven clusters with seven various turquoise complete the necklace. The 28” necklace strung on wire has one and two strands of sterling silver beads.

Ella Peter
Navajo silversmith Ella Peter was born April 2, 1943 in the Tsa-ya-toh area on the Navajo Reservation. She currently resides in Mentmore, New Mexico.
Ella has been an active silversmith for over 45 years, designing and creating her traditional jewelry.
Her father taught her the art of silversmithing and basket weaving at a very young age.
Ella is truly a master silversmith.
