J1006 Ray Bennett
Sterling silver cuff with nine coral cabochons by Navajo silversmith Ray Bennet. The 1 1/4” cuff has heavy stamp and overlay work. The inside of cuff measures 5 9/16 inches (5.56 inches) and the gap measures 1 3/16 inches (1.1875 inches).
Ray learned his craft from his family members, including both his parents and his uncles.

Raymond Bennett (Navajo) is a listed silversmith in Barton Wright's "Hallmarks of the Southwest". He began using “R. Bennett or Ray Bennett” in 1978. At one time Ray was the resident silversmith for Atkinson’s Trading Company.
