J1360 Vintage Cuff
Vintage Navajo sterling silver cuff with three Lone Mountain turquoise stones. This cuff, from the turn of the 20th century, has natural untreated turquoise. The inside of the 1 5/8" wide cuff is 53/4" with a 1" gap. Unsigned: jewelry of this age was rarely signed.
The Lone Mountain Turquoise Mine is located in Esmeralda County, Nevada. This turquoise is known for its ability to hold color and not fade. Lone Mountain turquoise ranges in color from clear blue to intense blue spiderweb. The mine is also known as the Blue Jay Mine. Because Lone Mountain retains its color, it is a favorite of collectors.

Old Pawn or Vintage Jewelry
For collectors of Native American antique/vintage/old pawn jewelry, the emotional attraction and value of the old pawn is that it was once owned, appreciated, worn, and used by Native American Indians. It is as an intimate relic of a people and a culture that is slowly disappearing into history.
