Ronnie Willie
Ronnie Willie, Navajo silversmith learned the art of silversmithing from his older brother, Lonnie. He is an accomplished Kachina carver, sculptor and artist. He also likes to draw.
Ronnie makes his own tools and is known for his overlay silver crosses and silver beads (raindrops) embedded in silver and inlaid with gemstones. He works as a silversmith five days a week in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He enjoys creating new designs and practices his art is his free time. Someday, he would like to teach young people how to silversmith and sculpture. It is important to him to keep his culture's traditions alive through his silverwork.
