DALE ANDERSON
Artist
Dale Anderson studied law at UCLA and served in Viet Nam with the 82nd Airborne division.
At the age of 30, he left the law profession and turned his full attention to art, his minor in college and his avocation since childhood. Dale has mastered various art media, such as painting in oils and acrylic as well as sculpting in clay. His foremost interest is in metal art. His work reflects an evolution of impressions through refinement and a deep understanding of his subjects.
Dale’s imaginative style embraces a variety of subjects, ranging from earth objects to ethereal conjuring. He sculpts with the welding torch, crating each piece and maintaining control from start to finish. No two are alike. His medium is a combination of metals: steel, copper and brass with the welding torch and chemicals as his brush and palette.

This renowned artist’s need for solitude has taken him to the Rim Country of Arizona where he and his domesticated wolf, Wolfen, enjoy the various stimuli nature provides and the time and space to enjoy and interprets them in metal.
